![]() Options like the Deutz Series 9, and the Fendt Vario 900 go faster, and the Fastrac 8330 hits 43mph (78km/h). One final consideration is speed, the trade off for speed is power the fastest tractors in the category are not the strongest, and the strongest examples don't go over 31mph (most only hit 25mph). If you're in-doubt as to which frame type your like, start a new file on farm manager and buy the types of tractors you're interested in, and give them a test drive. Tire types can also change this a bit as well, and keep in mind the width of your rig as you add more tires to the axles. This difference will change how the tractor operates and it's turn radius, not as big a concern with the large fields you should be propagating, and the large spans of the implements you'll be using, but keep it in mind as you may have concerns in smaller fields and in tight corners. Some of the tractors are similar to medium tractors in their frame build (such as the Case Magnum), while some are articulated giants (Case Quadtrack). In real life, you'd have the different features, software, and optional hardware you could have added on, but aside from a few, heavy tractors in fs 19 are some of the least customizable options in the game in my opinion, with your options usually reserved solely for tire types. You'll want to make sure that the tractor is able to pull the implements you want. Begin by planning which implements you want it to pull, those that I mentioned before (cultivators, seeders, plows, or variations of those) are going to be the biggest power demands. They are also an amount heavier, which lends to handling said implements better.Īs far as choosing the perfect heavy tractor for you, horsepower is one of the predominant considerations. They pull huge cultivators, massive seeders, and big 20-spade plows. Large tractors are optimized for pulling the biggest and most intensive implements they can. Typically, no heavy tractor can use front loader arms (their large size prevents their effective use in handling material in such a way), so they loose that versatility, but they are much more powerful than their medium-build counterparts. Unless you have the mod that enables it's use, this number is entirely pointless. But being a separate stat, stones in the field could for instance affect damage.Second question first, the second number should be the liters of DEF that the tractor can hold. Will have to test more to see how different types of activity raises the wearable damage. Thus, it's now likely not getting damaged equally by just sitting still with engine running as actually using it, which was the case in FS19. Haven't tested much here.Īlso different from FS22, operating time isn't deciding how damaged your vehicle is. If gear is usable still on 0% then it might not pay to maintain it ever. That is, of course, if you need to repair at all. ![]() Repairing at 100% damage costs ~32 times as much as repairing at 10% damage. It'll take a while before I have any use for'em)Īs in FS19, the initial price is the driver, so it pays of to buy gear first with no upgrades at all, and upgrade them afterwards, as this keeps the initial price as the price you bought it for prior to upgrading.īut new in FS22, is that the formula is now exponential, meaning that it costs more per damage the longer you wait. (I've not bothered to get the heaviest tractors in the spreadsheet yet. Got all utility options, cheapest tractor going 50 kph, and can get up to 150 hp, so you can live with it as your only tractor for quite a while if you need to cut cost. The Fendt Favorit 511c/515c is still an excellent option. ![]() But can be upgraded to a 3709 engine later to get up to 95 hp. It only has 75 hp, but enough for simple weeding/fertilizing jobs in the field with narrows and front loader duty. At only 43.000 it has front loader and narrow tire options. The cheapest utility tractor you can get is the Massey Ferguson 3707 AL. The John Deere 7810 have excellent value, being the cheapest per horsepower from 113-175 HP at 99500, and additionally it can have front loader, narrow tires, and have 3pnt with PTO in front, at least it looks like it. None of the cheapest tractors have utility functionality like narrow tires and front loader though (unless you find mods) Cheapest alternative to get to 100 hp, and if maintenance cost is still like in FS19, the far cheapest one to use too. The Bührer is by far the cheapest tractor per horsepower. For instance, what decides tractor maintenance costs and fuel usage.īut to start with I've gathered some tractor data at least, so thought I'd share that if anyone is interested: ![]() Sadly the game is missing details in information, so a lot of stuff must be game tested to be found. Have started to try and record some game data.
